Happy Thanksgiving!

Last week before we left for Thanksgiving break, our News-2-You story was about Thanksgiving Parades. We enjoyed learning the history of the Macy's Thanksgiving parade in anticipation of our Thanksgiving holiday!

We focused a lot on fine motor skills last week. Fine motor activities help build up the small muscles in our hands and fingers. This is important to help with handwriting, opening food items, turning doorknobs, dressing ourselves, and many other tasks we do all day everyday!

To practice some of these skills we made a variety of turkey's using our fine motor skills. We worked on: cutting curved lines and circles, coloring, picking up small items, painting, and many other skills!
